Folly Beach City Council will vote tonight on whether to stop letting Bert’s and the Kangaroo sell beer from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. The ordinance passed a first reading 5-2 in June, so if it passes tonight, late night beer runs are done on Folly Beach.
If it passes, the Hastings, who own Bert’s, say it might force them to close.
