The world’s top surfboard artist, Drew Brophy, will be visiting Folly Beach, South Carolina, from San Clemente, California, to give a live painting demonstration of his unique style and technique, using a surfboard as his canvas.  Watch as he pencils out his ideas, splashes on colors, adds highlights and finishes it off with a black-line!

drew-brophy-painting-april-08.jpgDrew Brophy left his hometown of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina over 15 years ago to live out his dream of surfing and painting while traveling the globe.  In the process, he’s become the top licensed surf artist in history, and has influenced generations with his paint techniques and his lifestyle.  He has come back to this area in order to share his philosophies and painting techniques with the locals.
