This strikes me as funny.
Why not? Criminals are used to a regimented lifestyle, crappy food, watching their back, and counting down the days until it’s over. And chances are there’s some serious pent up aggression in those with criminal pasts — shooting guns and learning to kill people is likely a great way to vent. Seems like a perfect fit.
Until sending criminals overseas to represent the United States results in more of this. Not so funny.
