The now infamous party, as reported in the Post and Courier, is back on for Saturday night. It’s been moved out to Johns Island, and shuttle service will begin from Buffalo South on James Island and from the Kerr Drug at River Road and Maybank (on Johns Island) at 9:30 p.m.
It’s $25 bucks, and benefits Project Okurase, a new clinic for women and AIDS orphans in Ghana.
DJ Logic, the TBC Brass Band, the Gahana Dance Troop, Love Butter, the Kevin Hackler Band, and Dub Island are all playing, and there’ll be a slip n’ slide, zip cord, moon bounce, and all kinds of craziness.
Other party details are here.
My favorite quote from the P & C story . . .
“All of that stuff has been blown out of proportion,” he (planner Brian King) said. “It’s not an orgy. It could not have been as crazy as everyone thinks.”
I guess we’ll find out.
